DEMAC style trade

| Real time trading examples

DEMAC stands for Doggett's Exponential Moving Average Crawl. It is a trading method that helps traders identify an important change in price action, typically from a downtrend reversal breakout and it's reliability give traders and investors the confidence to take a position and ride out the fledgling breakout trade, as it firms up and potentially becomes a longer term up-trend. This technique is discussed at length in our book Simple Tactics, Profitable Trading

The DEMAC technique gave an entry signal into IVC on 16 May 2018 at a closing price of $12.47. Fifty-two trading days later, no DEMAC based exit signal has been given and the share price closed at $14.17 (up $1.70 or 13.5%) and remains an open trade using this technique.
